Warranty Statement
Reconditioned Instruments:
On reconditioned equipment, circuit boards are warranted for one
(1) year from the date of shipment from CTS. Mechanical modules, assemblies, or subparts of
other major instruments are warranted for ninety (90) days. Examples of mechanical
assemblies would be: pump heads (check valves), motors, switches, WISP™ injectors or
pressure valves, RADs, vacuum motors, and carriage drives.
Repaired Instruments:
On repaired instruments, CTS will warrant circuit boards for one (1) year
if the boards were repaired in the process of returning the instrument to laboratory use. Mechanical
assemblies are warranted for ninety (90) days if they were worked on to repair
the instrument. Other items that fail that were not part of the CTS repair, are not covered by any
warranty from CTS.
Other Products:
All products are warranted to be free from defects in material and
workmanship. During the warranty period, we will replace without cost, any materials which
carry such defects.
Warranty Returns:
Please call for a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RA#) in advance
of return.
Shipment of returned warranty parts is the RESPONSIBILITY of the
customer from the customer's place of business to CTS, and is CTS's responsibility to the customer's place of business.
Returns must be within 30 days of original shipment. This is our honor system and allows CTS to keep our prices low.
Shortages:
All claims for shortages must be made within 10 days of receipt of
merchandise.
Other Returns:
A restocking charge of 15% ($10.00 Minimum) will apply for all items
authorized for return due to customer error or for customer convenience.
Exchanged or Returned Material
When ordering a Rebuild/Exchange item, a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER
(RA#) will be issued at the time of your order. If you need a pump shipping carton, let us
know.
